My name's Alan and I collect postcards, stamps, postal history (mostly 2 counties here in Washington State), books and games.

I'm what we in the US call a stay-at-home Dad--I take care of the kids while my wife works. (we drew straws 6 years ago and she won/lost depending on one's outlook. . . ) I volunteer in our kids' school and at a local museum. Delcampe is my way to earn money to keep adding to my collections so I'm here to buy and sell. Must say I agree with coinandstampman about "that other site's" costs, and that's the main reason I'm here. Markomundo is the Delcamper who told me about this site--thanks Mark!
